Campbell-Brown upstages US archrival Veronica-campbellTwo Olympic champion Veronica Campbell-Brown streaked to a world leading run in the women's 200 metres to highlight the New York Diamond League meet on Saturday.

The stage was set for a battle royale between the two time Olympic champion Campbell-Brown and archrival, two world champion the American, Allyson Felix.

Campbell-Brown crossed the line in a word leading and meet record 21.98 seconds, enacting revenge on the American, who beat at the World Championships last year in Berlin.

In a close men's 100 metres, Yohan Blake sped to 9.91 for second in the men's 100 metres behind Trinidad's Olympic silver medalist 9.89.

Antigua's Daniel Bailey was third in 9.92.

World and Olympic silver medlaist Shericka Williams posted 51.24 for second in the women's 400 metres behind Amantle Montsho of Botswana 50.79.

Rosemarie Whyte was fourth in 51.70.

Dellorreen Ennis-London 12.71 and Vonette Dixon 12.75 were fifth and sixth respectively in the women's 100 metre hurdles won by American Lolo Jones in 12.55.

And Isa Phillips 48.98 was fourth in the men's 400 metre hurdled won by American world champion Kerron Clement 47.86.

The next Diamond League meet takes place at the Prefontaine Classic in Eugene, Oregon on July 3 in the USA.
