Musical
duo Andrew and Wada Blood, sons of Junior Reid, are distancing themselves from the incident that took place between their father and Bounty Killer this week.

When THE STAR spoke with Andrew Blood yesterday, he explained that since rumours of a fight between Junior Reid and Bounty Killer began circulating, he and his brother have been receiving threats. Junior Reid and Bounty Killer were involved in a verbal altercation at the popular weekly party, Hot Mondays, earlier this week.

minor altercation

As previously reported, according to Junior Reid, there was a minor altercation between members of his family and someone from Bounty Killer's crew two weeks ago at Weddy Weddy. This week at Hot Mondays, Reid confronted the person said to be involved from Bounty Killer's camp, after which a verbal dispute began. Andrew Blood, however, would like to clear the air that they were not the ones involved in the altercation at Weddy Weddy. He said, "People a call mi sey a we start up the tension. This morning mi go on the Internet and people a sey Andrew and Wada Blood cause all of it, and we have nutten to do wid it. Junior Reid have more than just us as sons and is our next younger brother was involved in the verbal thing." Blood says they were not present at either incident.

'irie'

According to Andrew Blood, everything between themselves and Bounty Killer's camp is "irie" and they have no negative vibes with them. As for the persons sending threats he said, "My message for dem is don't call mi and send threat, don't waste your time and credit to call mi. If yuh a do summen just come, don't tell me bout wha yuh ago do."

He added, "We have no time for waste matters, music we deh on. A 'One Blood' we sey and we irie, nuh war ting and violence ting we nuh support dat, unity we sey."

The duo is set to premiere the video for their song Beggy Beggy next week. They are also planning on shooting a video for their song Find A Way which they say has been receiving heavy rotation on the airwaves. The duo is also looking forward to the release of their album Irie which is set for release in October.
