Japan was set ablaze by the musical sounds of the Big Ship camp for a little over two weeks, and dancehall and reggae artiste Chinosays it could not have gone better.

The tour to promote his newly released album, Never Change, took place over a number of cities including: Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka, Kobe and Fukuoka.

He says, "It was a great experience, especially the Yokohama Reggae Bash in Tokyo. The venue was filled to capacity with thousands of fans and the Big Ship family really pulled out all the stops, and I think the fans enjoyed it. Overall, thetour went well. Most of the record shops there have the album, have been playing it and the fans have been supporting the album. So I have to say thanks to everyone for their support."

Chino, whose correct name is Daniel McGregor, released his sophomore Japan album to rave reviews andin less than 20 hours of its release on iTuneā€²s Reggae Japan chart, Never Change has already shot to second spot on the chart.

Chino and Stephen "Di Genius" McGregor returned to the island earlier this week and left again yesterday for a number of Labour Day concerts inNew York.
