Two men accused of being among seven persons who allegedly gang-raped a young woman who was seeking a job at a wholesale are now before the courts.

The men were arrested after the police were alerted about the incident by an unknown source. They appeared in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court on Tuesday on charges of rape and robbery with aggravation.

They are Richard Allen, 22, and a 16-year-old, both of Kingston addresses.

Allegations are that Allen met the complainant at a bar and they became friends. During their conversation, the accused man is said to have told the complainant that his aunt owned a wholesale and that he could try and get a job for her.

It is alleged that the accused man and the complainant met in Spanish Town at a later date and they took a taxi to a house. It is claimed that after they reached their destination, it was revealed that the accused man's aunt was not there. The complainant was said to have been taken to another one-bedroom house.

The allegations indicate that while there, the accused man demanded sex from the woman but she refused. She is said to have given in to the accused man's demands later on after he scared her with several treats.

It is claimed that after they had sex, she was taken to another house where she was told that she should have sex with another man, said to be a deportee.

The complainant is said to have started to scream and denied the request but according to the allegations, several men who were in the yard came into the room where one of the men slapped her across the face and forced her to have sex with all of them.

After the seven men allegedly raped her, it is also claimed that the complainant was robbed of her two cellular phones and gold chain.

Allen and the teen was remanded and ordered to be brought back to court on March 1.
