King is free - Reggae Boy now on the hunt for new club

Reggae Boy Marlon King was yesterday released from jail after serving an 18-month sentence for assaulting a young woman in a night club in London, in December, 2008.
The Jamaican international, who was convicted on charges of sexual assault and causing actual bodily harm to the 20-year-old woman, served nine months behind bars.
The incident occurred while the player was on loan from Wigan to Hull City when King is said to have broken the nose of the woman after she rejected his advances.
However, having being axed by the Premier League club immediately after the incident, the striker will now turn his attention to returning to the sport.
Despite being adamant that King will not be allowed to rejoin Wigan the club's chairman David Whelan, who immediately after the incident had said the player should not be allowed to ever play the sport again, seems to have relaxed his stance.
"There is no chance of him coming back to Wigan, no," Whelan told Sky Sports News.
"I was really upset at the time because we'd paid £3 million for him and my complaint was I think all players should have a passport of their health, their injuries and also if they've got a criminal record.
"And I still believe that every player should have that and that was why I was so upset.
"He's made a big mistake, he's served a prison sentence for it so I think we've got to say we forgive him and he's got to get on with his life," the manager continued.
A number of clubs have expressed an interest in the 30-year-old and they include Watford, a team that King helped promoted to the Premier League in 2006, Queens Park Rangers and Coventry.
However, according to the striker's manager Tony Finnigan nothing concrete has been agreed to as yet.
"I can confirm a number of teams have expressed an interest in Marlon," he said.
"They know he can do it at the highest level and for him to be available on a free transfer is an obvious attraction, especially in today's climate."
