A strong detachment of police and military personnel is still in the East Kirkland Heights area in Upper St. Andrew in search of illegal guns and ammunition.
The search, which started Monday afternoon, focused on two houses on Kirkland Avenue.
One of them is said to be owned by businessman Justin O'Gilvie, who is a close associate of former West Kingston strongman, Christopher "Dudus" Coke.
Mr. O'Gilvie was arrested by the police two weeks ago.
RJR News Centre understands that passports and other documents were seized from Mr. O'Gilvie's house.
Four persons who were found on the premises were not arrested.
During the operation at the second house the occupants were found to be conducting an illegal hardware business.
However, none of them was taken into custody.
The police have been conducting several raids at premises in East Kirkland Heights since the incursion in West Kingston.
One of the incidents resulted in the death of Keith Clarke, the brother of former government minister, Claude Clarke.
