Another prayer vigil is being planned for Voicemail member Oneil Edwards, as fellow artiste Mr Vegas says plans are being put in place to stage another one at the Kingston Public Hospital (KPH) parking lot today.

Edwards is currently in the hospital after being shot several times on Tuesday morning by gunmen as he entered his home in Duhaney Park, St Andrew. The entertainer was rushed to the KPH in critical condition. Hours after the incident took place, members of Edwards' entertainment family came together at the clock tower in Half-Way Tree for a prayer vigil after 9 a.m.

Speaking with THE STAR late last night, Vegas said, "we were trying to arrange one for downtown in the hospital parking lot. We just have to keep the prayer going and leave it inna God hands."

He said the time for the vigil is tentatively set for 2 p.m.
