FEMALE PASTOR EMPTIES SPOUSE'S HOUSE? - Allegedly runs off with husband's furniture Main11

SHELDON WILLIAMS, STAR Writer

There's now endless gossip among residents of a St Catherine community about a well-known female pastor who has been labelled a gold-digger.

The STAR was informed by residents that the pastor recently became the centre of attraction and 'mix-up', following her apparent separation from her husband who is much older than her.

A former member of the church in question told the STAR that the pastor moved out all the furniture from the house previously shared by herself and her husband, and left all his clothes on the floor. "Not even food she left," the former member explained.

THE STAR was informed that on the day of the removal, the pastor sought the assistance of two men to remove every piece of furniture from the premises, while her husband just sat on the steps and watched as the items were removed. "I neva believe it until I see it for myself," the former member explained.

Another resident told the STAR, in a telephone conversation, that "Is a shame and disgrace because everybody in the community talking about it. worse, she is a pastor."

THE STAR was further informed that the pastor, who had been married for five years, might have deliberately purchased the items of furniture in her name, using her husband's money, with the intention of claiming the furniture for herself.

As a result, residents consider the pastor to be a gold-digger because they believe she married her husband with the sole intent of claiming some of his wealth for herself.

Information reaching the STAR is that the pastor's husband is a wealthy returning resident from England who gets his pension from that country regularly, so he is in good financially standing.

According to residents, the pastor took advantage of his financial capability.

The STAR was also told that, to date, the house is still empty and the husband still resides there. Interestingly, though, the pastor has moved into another premises, also believed to be owned by her husband. However, that second house is in the care of the pastor's daughter.

All efforts to receive comment from the pastor's church, the pastor and the husband were unsuccessful.
