The Jamaica Labour Party has installed a new Chairman in the constituency of East Portland.
Businessman Patrick Lee was on Sunday night ratified during a Party conference in Port Antonio.
JLP Deputy Leader, James Robertson, says Mr. Lee replaces Dennis Wright who was a candidate in the 2007 General Election.
“Who tendered his resignation from the post of Chairman and caretaker for East St. Thomas and Dennis will be serving for East Portland. Dennis will be serving in other roles within the party structure, his contribution we look forward to in the Standing Committee and elsewhere in the party,” Mr. Robertson said.
