The sister of West Kingston fugitive Christopher "Dudus" Coke as well as East Kingston businessman Danhai Williams have been added to the list of persons now being sought by the police.

A statement issued on Thursday night by the High Command of the Jamaica Constabulary Force appealed to the two and 23 other persons believed to be affiliated with criminal gangs to turn themselves in at any police station.

The High Command said the appeal was being made as the security Forces embark on another phase of their offensive on crime.

At the top of the list of persons in Tivoli Gardens and Denham Town being sought is Sandra "Sandy" Coke the sister of Christopher "Dudus" Coke.

Mr. Coke's brother, Leighton Coke, who was last week identified by the police as a person of interest surrendered to the Half Way Tree Police on Tuesday evening.

The police are also seeking Tivoli Garden/Denham Town residents Orlando “Ochoy” O’Gilvie, Newton McLeod otherwise called Harold McLeod and Harry Dog, Danny Banton as well as David Heron also known as “Reagie”.

In addition to Danhai Williams, two other persons of interest from East Kingston are being asked to report to the police.

They are Kevin Bryan and Michael Murray otherwise called “Bissi”.

Other persons said to be members of the West Stinger's Gang based in the Maxfield Avenue area as well as the New World Order, Cassie Allo, One Order and Clansman Gangs are also being asked to turn themselves in.

The police are also seeking other persons in volatile communities in Rema and Central Kingston.


And Rohan Silvera - a mastermind behind the “Cash for Gold” racket in Spanish Town and its environs is also being asked to turn himself over to the police.

The Police High Command says several other individuals who were being sought since the imposition of the State of Emergency have turned themselves in and are being interviewed and processed.

And Coke's attorneys are preparing to wrap up submissions on Friday in the legal battle with the Justice Minister Dorothy Lightbourne over her decision to sign the extradition request for the West Kingston strongman.

Attorneys for both sides appeared before Chief Justice Zaila McCalla for several hours Thursday.

During the submissions the attorneys for the Justice Minister urged the Chief Justice not to grant the application for leave for Judicial Review and to allow the extradition process to go ahead.

The lawyers also urged the Chief Justice not to grant a stay of the extradition warrant that is now out for Mr. Coke's arrest.

Mr. Coke's lawyers, Don Foote and Paul Beswick, had applied to the Court for leave to go to the Judicial Review Court to challenge Ms Lightbourne's decision.

The lawyers had referred to Ms Lightbourne's April decision when she refused to sign the request citing the failure of the US administration to comply with the conditions under the Extradition Treaty.
