Ludacris lost his No. 1 spot this week on The Billboard 200. The Atlanta-based rapper’s new album, Battle of the Sexes, was toppled by by Lady Antellbum and Marvin Sapp.
Although he slipped two slots to No. 3, Luda still managed to sell 61,200 units this week. After two cycles on the charts, BOTS has a total of 198,500 copies sold, according to the Nielsen SoundScan.
Climbing one notch up to No. 8 is the Black Eyed Peas. The E.N.D. picked up 38,800 in sales this week, bringing their overall figure to 2,309,500 in their 41st week on the charts.
Lil Wayne fell five spots to No. 17 this week, after moving 24,100 Rebirth CDs out of the stores. In seven weeks Weezy has racked up 444,500 in sales.
Jumping four places to No. 31 are the New Orleans MC’s crew, Young Money. The group scanned 15,600 units of their debut LP, We Are Young Money, this go-round, making their 13 week tally 391,300.
