Manpower and Maintenance Services (MMS), Jamaica's well-known building services contractor and a nominee for the Jamaica Observer Business Leader Award in 2008, is implementing a new information technology solution aimed at providing more accurate and timely management information as well as facilitating greater control over the organisation's operations.
TEAM Software, out of Omaha, Nebraska, will, over the next few months, be working with MMS to deploy its flagship product, WinTEAM, which is an integrated labour, operations and financial management solution designed specifically for building services and security contractors.
Project manager Yvette Johnson said, "We are working very hard to ensure that at the end of the day MMS makes a quantum leap towards improved operational efficiencies and a more effective control environment while positioning itself for even greater growth in the near future."
"As of January 2010 our operations will be fully integrated to facilitate greater cohesiveness between different arms of the business," commented MMS CEO Audrey Hinchcliffe. "We are at the same time upgrading our websites to provide more timely and relevant information both for existing and prospective clients," Hinchcliffe added.
