A man remanded in the Corporate Area Resident Magistrate's Court yesterday for robbing a woman will be sentenced tomorrow.
Andre Gibbs, 22, of a Corporate Area address, pleaded guilty to larceny from the person.
According to the allegations, Gibbs stole a white and black handbag from the complainant, which contained her phone and $6,000.
When Resident Magistrate Georgi-anna Fraser warned the man about his actions, he told her that he did not used any knife or weapon during the incident.
He said he just rode up to the complainant, stole her bag and escaped.
The judge was not pleased about his choice of words and told him that his actions were wrong.
He later apologised.
