Former Security Advisor Harold Crooks is now in police custody.
Mr. Crooks left Jamaica after he was accused of carnal abuse.
The Gleaner/Power106 received confirmation from the Constabulary Communications Network that Mr. Crooks was arrested at the Ocho Rios pier in St. Ann early this morning.
Harold Crooks, a former commandant of the Island Special Constabulary called the Gleaner Power 106 News Centre late March claiming that the incident for which he’s being sought by the police involves a 16 year old girl with whom he had a brief relationship.
He said that contrary to the reports which were made to the police, he did not have sexual relations with the girl until after her sixteenth birthday, and with her consent.
